The culling struck, killing millions. Anarchy ensued. Gangs fought for control of what was left, picking on those not strong enough to defend themselves. Like the others, Juliana was snatched during a violent raid on her home. It left her husband dead and her young son hiding in a cupboard. That was nearly ten years ago. If she ever hopes to escape and find her boy, she must first survive the horror and degradation of her forced incarceration. But the years of abuse have taken their toll and things are getting worse. Does she have what it takes to finally escape the clutches of the General and his perverse army of juveniles? Or will the prison see her sent down into the cells below, the ones from where nobody ever returns?
The Human Zoo is a blood-soaked, action horror story set against the urban back drop of a post- apocalyptic London, a dangerous, lawless city where only the strong and merciless will survive. It is the first book in the series.
