“What is happening to us?” I began to wonder. My friends and I were in our mid-20s, recently invincible, our whole lives ahead of us. We all have so much to be thankful for, so then why are we so dominated by anxiety? By stress? By panic attacks? By adrenal fatigue? By depression? We were letting our joy and vitality slip away in the quest to get the things we thought would bring us joy and vitality. Is it too much to ask to be successful and at peace? Do we have to lose ourselves to win in the rat race?Something had to give.
